Sequent Dynix In a nod toward openness, CA has developed partnerships with several companies -- some of which are Siemens Sinix competitors -- including Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Netscape, Cheyenne, Candle, BMC Software Sun Solaris-Sparc and Landmark Systems. The company directly fields support calls for some of these partners, including Solaris-x86 Intel Microsoft, HP, Sun and Cheyenne. Furthermore, CA will jointly develop links to HP's OpenView, IBM's Tandem NonStop K NetView and Sun's SunNet Manager, network management systems that will go head to head with ING.
